I'm an American player living in Japan who is new to FFXIV. I played a bit of FFXI but I would consider myself a newcomer on all counts. I just started playing and I learned of this guild through NeoGAF. I'm really just looking for companionship/advice and such at this stage–I'm not high level so I won't be raiding or anything for some time.

That said, I do speak Japanese (taking the JLPT N1 this summer) if that helps my chances. Anyway, let me know if you can have me!
